I'm sorry, but I had to vote this down...precisely because of our "modern love of lawsuits." I have seen people's careers destroyed by frivolous lawsuits (and, no, I'm not talking about our local example).
I think that by doing this, you open yourself to a number of liability risks, not to mention Real Bad Karma. While setting someone up like this may achieve the goal of removing the troll, it brings you down to their level...or lower. I do believe there are times when the ends justify the means, but this isn't one of them. He could, after all, simply be an idiot. Getting fired for harassment has a way of following you around. No matter how bad the troll in question is, I don't think you need to destroy his ability to provide for his family.
So, even if you *were* joking, it's not very funny. Not to me, at any rate.
