in thread OO automatic accessor generation

Moose has *thousands* of tests to make sure stuff like this Just Works.

Does it work with Apache::Reload (yet/again)? I'm just asking out of (sincere) curiosity ...

Does it work with Apache::Reload (yet/again)?

It does work with Module::Refresh but we have seen issues when things start getting complex and start to involve multiple cross module dependencies. I suspect Apache::Reload would have the same issues and limitations. The problem with both modules is that they focus on the reloading of a single file, so if for instance you were to change a role module, neither Module::Refresh or Apache::Reload can know that you also would need to reload all the classes and roles that consume that role. It is important to understand that Moose does a fair amount of "compiling", so like more traditional compiled languages (Java, C#, etc) we sometimes require re-compilation and re-linking of dependent modules as well as the one changed. All that said, it is almost certainly possible to solve this problem using Moose and the MOP, but as far as I know no one has cared enough to do that.
