Those summaries on DBDs are so out of date (10 years old) I cannot see the point in including them. If they were in DBI itself I'd update some of them so perhaps I need to mention this to Tim.
Please someone has updated these as on the DBI site it has had a "new site coming soon" for well over a year.

Apparently it's only a list of pods from various (most?) DBDs. I suppose making it up to date should be quite easy to automate, isn't it?

Yup, the Perl page looks much cleaner and free from hype.

Great! Perl + jQuery, my tools of choice for web based work :)

The new perl.org website is a major step forward IMO. I completely fail to see why this "news item" needed to mention any other site? This took an interesting piece of news -- the revamp of the perl.org website, which showcases modern Perl technology -- and made it into a silly and pointless cheap shot at another community.

Why has the Creative Commons Non Commercial-No Derivative license been selected for Perl.org? it doesn't make sense! | [reply] |
