Initializing a multi-dim array

cormanaz has asked for the wisdom of the Perl Monks concerning the following question:

Howdy Bros. I want to initialize a 2-D array with zeroes. I know for a 1-D list I can do my @array = ((0) x 100); but if I've got, say, a 100 x 5 array how do I do it?
