It's really "pumpking", but most people say and spell it "pumpkin". As in, the person responsible for a particular Perl release. If you're not the Pumpking, you can only suggest changes to the next release, and you hope the pumpking approves.

    No it was "pumpgun", but because of bloody copyright conflicts with the NRA, Larry changed it to "pumpkin".
