Re: Perl 5.11.3 now available

It gives me great pleasure to announce the release of Perl 5.11.3.

.... wow, my procrastination pays off.... i was planning to get around to finally updating to 5.8.10( ... i mean 5.10.0 ) during the idle holidays.... but now i see i saved time by waiting... :-)

Note that 5.11.3 is a development release, and while it is intended that it becomes the first in the 5.12 series, it has not yet reached the state that the Perl5 Porters have released it as 5.12.	[reply]

Additionally, there is no 5.8.10. I think you mean 5.10 (of which there is 5.10.0 and 5.10.1) 5.10 introduced a switch statement (given/when), some neat regex stuff and more. perl5100delta perl5101delta	[reply]
