Perl for Montavista Linux

I don't see a port for Montavista, so unless they provide one (have you asked them?) you may have to compile it from the source code.	[reply]

It looks like from wikipedia, Montavista linux is pay for software.... you probably need the higher cost version :-).... otherwise Perl is real easy to compile from source code.... just read the README Otherwise, stick to a free linux distro, like Ubuntu, if you want easy package installation.
