telecom testing

adbeneeraj has asked for the wisdom of the Perl Monks concerning the following question:

Hi , I have 5+ years of experience in core telecom. Worked for Bharti Airtel and for level3 communication. Am now more inclined towards SS7 testing or telecom testing in general. So jst want to know about the role of perl scripting in testing. I want to learn perl so that I can move into telecom testing in specific. Please advice.

"I want to learn perl" Resources: http://learn.perl.org http://perldoc.perl.org The Tutorials section of this site. Once you've learned the basics do some searching (via Google or super search) for specific topics/areas. There are many post here on the subject of testing, be it application testing or comms hardware testing.	[reply]
