Stanislav has asked for the wisdom of the Perl Monks concerning the following question:
Hi.
I want to install module. I make: perl -MCPAN -e shell and then: install Net::SSH::Perl I get:
...................................... Fetching with LWP: http://www.perl.org/CPAN/authors/id/T/TU/TURNSTEP/CHECKSUMS Checksum for /home/stas/.cpan/sources/authors/id/T/TU/TURNSTEP/Net-SSH +-Perl-1.34.tar.gz ok Scanning cache /home/stas/.cpan/build for sizes Use of uninitialized value $newdir in substitution (s///) at /usr/loca +l/lib/perl/5.10.0/Cwd.pm line 502. DONE CPAN: Archive::Tar loaded ok (v1.54) Net-SSH-Perl-1.34/ ......................................
also later I get:
.................................................... Use of uninitialized value $_[0] in join or string at /usr/local/lib/p +erl/5.10.0/File/Spec/Unix.pm line 86. Use of uninitialized value $path in pattern match (m//) at /usr/local/ +lib/perl/5.10.0/File/Spec/Unix.pm line 267. Use of uninitialized value $_[0] in join or string at /usr/local/lib/p +erl/5.10.0/File/Spec/Unix.pm line 86. Use of uninitialized value $path in pattern match (m//) at /usr/local/ +lib/perl/5.10.0/File/Spec/Unix.pm line 267. Use of uninitialized value $_[0] in join or string at /usr/local/lib/p +erl/5.10.0/File/Spec/Unix.pm line 86. Use of uninitialized value $path in pattern match (m//) at /usr/local/ +lib/perl/5.10.0/File/Spec/Unix.pm line 267. Use of uninitialized value $_[0] in join or string at /usr/local/lib/p +erl/5.10.0/File/Spec/Unix.pm line 86. ......................................................
I can post full output but it'll occupy a lot space, if it needed let me know please.
And result:
Warning: No success on command[/usr/bin/perl Makefile.PL INSTALLDIRS=s +ite] TURNSTEP/Net-SSH-Perl-1.34.tar.gz /usr/bin/perl Makefile.PL INSTALLDIRS=site -- NOT OK Running make test Make had some problems, won't test Running make install Make had some problems, won't install Failed during this command: TURNSTEP/Net-SSH-Perl-1.34.tar.gz : writemakefile NO '/usr +/bin/perl Makefile.PL INSTALLDIRS=site' returned status -1
How I can fix it?
Thanks in advance!
