have you tried just opening sockets and talking to the mail servers directly? i have a short code for that type of application, not real fancy, but 'talks' to the mail server directly to send mail... i'll try to get the code on that scratchpad once i figure out how here...*heh*
If you really want to, prinet's scratchpad ([pad://PriNet]) gets you to "that scratchpad" of yours... but if I were you, I'd post the code directly in response to this thread. Scratchpads tend to be transitory and ephemeral.
