The difference between this request and homework is that a student is supposed to do the homework himself to help him learn. A teacher does not prepare Powerpoint viewgraphs to help him learn. If the slides are in the public domain and some monks know where the slides are then I say go for it.

I consider this request to be a very appropriate use of PM, and I am glad that the requester was able to find the assistance here that he needed.
