Suggestions for Parser Modules

cocl04 has asked for the wisdom of the Perl Monks concerning the following question:

All, I am trying to find some solutions for matching Social Security Numbers, names, and / or addresses. Can someone provide any suggestions for the best Perl modules for parsing the above attributes? Thanks, CC

For validating (not verifying) U.S. Social Security Numbers, take a look at SSN::Validate.	[reply]

No...we are not a bank...but we sometimes extend credit under two different lines of business. I need to try and resolve records from two different systems to see if there is customer overlap.	[reply]
