I do not know of any name of the format, its just how the data resides.

    Most people don't know that the name of the calendar we use is the Gregorian Calendar, but that doesn't change the fact that most people can still make sense of one.

      not everything is an obvious date/time, and a sample of doesn't always establish an obvious pattern.
