    What makes you think it doesn't already know?

    Ie. You must be getting some kind of error message. If you tell us that message, it may help us help you.

      "it looks like you don't have a C compiler and make utility installed" then it says ppm.bat can't find a package that provides MinGW.
        • Do you actually have a compiler installed?
        • What version of perl are you using? (Hint: perl -V)
