in reply to Could we get a more systematic approach to security in perl?
I think perl should be a bigger part of OWASP.It seems like a waste of time to me. Some random guy had the free time to register a 501(c)3, buy a domain name, put up a wiki, and thereby create an entity with the word "Open" in its name. I could probably create the Best Internet Alliance for Technology, Creativity, and Holiness for a few hundred dollars, but there would still be no reason for anyone interested in any of those good things to pay attention.
This is not to say that Perl web-app security isn't important -- it is -- but these various Alliance for Mom and Apple Pie outfits are pretty silly.
