CountZero has asked for the wisdom of the Perl Monks concerning the following question:
I was updating my Perl installation, when I encountered the following error in CPAN:
Writing Makefile for Text::CSV_XSI had similar errors when upgrading Moose and Class::MOPdmake.exe: makefile: line 454: Error: -- An AUGMAKE meta target must not be mixed with non AUGMAKE meta targets, offending target [.manifest]
Not being conversant with the arcane internals of make, I am at a loss how to solve this problem.
I am using ActiveState Perl 5.10.1 and dmake.exe as the make-tool. OS is Windows XP Pro.
I'm quite sure I have done upgrades of all these modules before without any problems.
Update: I tried all your suggestions, updated everything to the latest and the greatest and still the same problem remained. Then I noticed that the buffer for previous commands in cpan no longer worked and that ANSI-codes in the CLI were not working either. So something is definitetly hosed in my Perl-installation. I have re-installed my Activestate Perl and now it works again. Thanks all for your assistance!
