looking for POE tutorials

morgon has asked for the wisdom of the Perl Monks concerning the following question:

as all the tutorials I can currently find seem to be several years old (e.g. http://poe.perl.org/?Tutorials), I wonder if these can still be recommended or if someone here can recommend more up-to-date ones.

The second edition of Advanced Perl Programming (The Panther) has a section on POE. That book has also aged a couple of years at this point (it was originally published in 2005), but perhaps what it lacks in up-to-dateness it makes up for in quality and breadth.	[reply]
