Because without a clue about what I'm meant to be looking for, in that volume of very similar looking lines, it is really hard to pick out the significant bit, -p0 .v. -p1, before my eyes glaze over.

    Yes, the "lesson" was very opaque. Thanks for the help. I had tried different variations, except -p1.
    I wound up doing it by hand. The patch itself introduces an extra opening brace, so it is a bad patch.
