    POE is not deprecated. What is deprecated is PDT's POE::Filter for FS events. The ESL makes that filter obsolete.

    If you use POE try the "recvEventTimed" method documented here:
    http://wiki.freeswitch.org/wiki/Event_Socket_Library#recvEventTimed

    You can poll for events and handle them as they arrive.

    I don't think so, the documentation doesn't it is deprecated.

    Please tell me if you know any specific modules , that was so generic

    AnyEvent is specific and it matches your requirement for Event socket library. If you had something different in mind you'll need to elaborate.
