Would it make sense to up the DBD::AnyData rev to 1.000 instead of 0.010, to signify an API change? Not trying to start a religious war about versioning methods, honest ;-)

    I agree. Without their having knowledge of the specific version numbering scheme used for the module, a change in the integer portion of the version number would signal to most people that there had been (possibly) breaking changes from the last version.
