True, this is an option and isn't meant to slight Perlmonks. My point is the code documentation for this module, as well as all BioPerl modules, indicates where questions for BioPerl are normally directed. BioPerl developers (of which I am one) might be able to respond more directly there, and one might even reach the developer responsible for the code in this case.
