in reply to Rakudo Star , some wishes

I have not been following Perl 6 for years now but I am eagerly waiting for Rakudo Star.

My question at the moment is:

Does anybody know whether Rakudo Star will come with a self-contained documentation (or maybe even a tutorial?) of the current state of the Perl 6 language (or the subset that it implements) or would I need to look for other sources to get into Perl 6 (I am not too keen on reading all the synopes and apocalypes and what not)?

Replies are listed 'Best First'.

Note that http://perl6.org/ contains links to many other resources (beside the synopsis) that can help you to learn Perl 6, including the book chromatic has mentioned, my 5 to 6 series, and much more.
Perl 6 - links to (nearly) everything that is Perl 6.
Both are good resources, but I especially like moritz's 5 to 6 series.

No clutter, just facts - I like the style.

      Please keep it up.

Rakudo Star will include the Rakudo Star book, a self-contained tutorial describing the Perl 6 features available in Rakudo Star.
