mushu has asked for the wisdom of the Perl Monks concerning the following question:

This is for perl hackers older than teenagers. About a decade ago TPJ ran a contest for 4 or 5 years and one entry was an othello program whos code was in the shape of an othello board, and it played a mean game of othello! I used to think I was king of Google searches but attempting to find this program has defeated me. Is there a true Monk here that can show me the path to wisdom please?

    checked and found, http://www.foo.be/docs/tpj/

No Othello specific gaming but perhaps refering to the stones contests rules:http://www.foo.be/docs/tpj/issues/vol2_3/tpj0203-0013.html and the results http://www.foo.be/docs/tpj/issues/vol3_1/tpj0301-0013.html

Thanks, I'll take a look. I think I might have it stuffed away on an old 3.5" diskette but it might not still be readable because the magnetic gauss stuff bleeds off over time ya know...
