This evening, I found myself wandering through the catacombs, looking for things I'd missed over the last little while.

When viewing this index page, I voted a node up and found myself returned to the front page of the catacombs.

After a bit of experimentation, I discovered that if you've been browsing one of the categories and then vote a node--without viewing the node directly--you are then transported to the first index page in the queue. While it's trivial to hit the Back button and return to the previous page you were browsing, one wonders if it would be better to return to browser to that index page automatically.

I suspect the node_id and next parameters are being ignored by the relevant mechanism.

I'm not entirely sure if this is a bug, a WAD, or a design feature...but I thought it worth mentioning.
