The UWinnipeg repository link takes me to a download site for the tar file, which doesn't contain a ppd file, unfortunately. I'm running 64-bit Win7 - could that be a problem?

      What? Add the uwinnipeg repository to your repository list

        I have done that. The io-socket-ssl package does not show up in the Package manager list. It's weird. When I attempt to load the package using the command line PPM, I get "ppm install failed: No PPD found at http://cpan.uwinnipeg.ca/PPMPackages/10xx/io-socket-ssl" -socket-ssl.ppd"
