thundergnat has asked for the wisdom of the Perl Monks concerning the following question:

Anyone know where I could find a link to a transcript (or video) of the State of the Onion 12(2008) & 13(2009) talks? I checked the usual suspects but found nothing but placeholders. Google didn't turn up anything but commentary. (Admittedly, my search-fu may be weak.) Since they were given in 2008 and 2009 it doesn't seem unreasonable to me that they would be generally available, but I can't seem to find them.

Last year's talk was an extended demonstration of the error messages of the reference Perl 6 grammar. I don't remember why I couldn't get the 2008 SoTO on Perl.com (unless that was the point at which management told me to stop publishing the site, which could have been the case).

I dimly recall that the 2009 SOTO was similar to the Art of Ballistic Programming talk, of which I've seen either a live stream or a recording. I just can't find any link to a video right now :(
Perl 6 - links to (nearly) everything that is Perl 6.
