How about putting the time/date at the top of the page? That way I could trivially tell if my browser decided to show me an older cached copy instead of new content!

    It's been a while since you posted, and you've probably heard of the "Tick tock" nodelet by now, but I thought I should mention it in case somebody else stumbles upon this node.

    I tend to put it as an SGML comment at the foot of the file, particularly when dealing with code that's supposed to time stuff out...
