This ppd file doesn't support your 64bit platform. Is there a reason you haven't taken my advice and installed from cpan?

I have never been luck to get the MinGW & Dmake installation on Win7 x 64. I spent another couple of hours today to install MinGW and I still get these errors which frankly I don't understand. Hence the ppm preference. Thanks again for all the continued support, -sanju C:\temp\PDF-Reuse-Barcode-0.06\PDF-Reuse-Barcode-0.06>cpan Set up gcc environment - 3.4.5 (mingw-vista special r3) It looks like you don't have a C compiler and make utility installed. Can you install any modules via PPM, are you having network connection problems?. If, as previously suggested you have all the repos added do a

      ppm search MinGW

If this doesn't find anything MinGW may not be available for your version of Perl (5.10.1). Consider either upgrading to the current release and try again or consider switching to a 64 bit build of StrawberryPerl, which comes with ppm, cpan and all the build tools you'll need.

Yes, i am able to install other modules. I upgraded to the latest version of Perl 5.12 but still the same. Could not find MinGW. Somewhere it's suggested to download Win2003 SDK - i installed the Win7 SDK but that does not have any dmake/nmake. I am going to give Strawberry a try. After install Strawberry Perl, I was able to install the module thru CPAN. Thanks for all the support.
