Eps mode thru script

Selvakumar has asked for the wisdom of the Perl Monks concerning the following question:

Hi All,
I need to collect the report of all eps files mode from a folder. I need to collect illustrator eps files document info->object information of CMYK, RGB, and gray scale information. I tried with module Image::Exiftool and Image::Info.
Please suggest me how to get these info thru perl?

Perhaps the Image::Magick module might be worth a try. EPS is listed as one of the recognised formats.	[reply]

Image::Info doesn't support EPS files. Is the information you require stored in the Exif data? If so how did your attempt with Image::Exiftool fail? Perhaps Imager could be of help.	[reply]
