    Thanks, that was the function: "quotemeta".

    And in a example,

    $old = "(hola[amigo])";

$new = quotemeta($old);

print "$old turns to $new";

    [download]

    Prints,

    (hola[amigo]) turns to \(hola\[amigo\]\)
