Auto Submit Form

Anonymous Monk has asked for the wisdom of the Perl Monks concerning the following question:

Hello Venerable Monks

I have a form with a submit button, its a hidden page. I already have the form to auto-fill but now need to auto submit it.

Is there anyway to this without WWW::Mechanize (my host won't install it on a shared server)?

Never heard of auto-submit .... Yes, even you can use CPAN	[reply]

"Auto submit ?!??" And what's a "hidden page" have to do with this? I hope that doesn't mean some sort of mechanism by which you hope to have visitors to a site unknowingly send you info collected in the auto-fill.	[reply]

You would have to do that with Javascript e.g. in a handler that fires when the document has finished loading.	[reply]
