InfiniteSilence has asked for the wisdom of the Perl Monks concerning the following question:

I'm following this online tutorial and I've followed the example up to the 1.1, where you run perl Makefile.PL. The link to Dean Roehrich's directory was dead so I borrowed one from an old version of HTML::Strip I found online and I put it into the directory (see below). Basically my files look like this after running h2xs -A -n xstest:
/xstest |----blib | |------arch | | |-----auto | | |-----xstest | |------bin | |------lib | | |----auto | | |----xstest | |------man1 | |------man3 | |------script |----lib |----perlobject.map |----t
I made all of the necessary changes listed in the example, but when I run perl Makefile.PL I get the following:
c:\temp\xstest>perl Makefile.PL Typemap perlobject.map not found. Writing Makefile for xstest
What is going on here?
