"Why m i getting this warning?"

You don't have a suitable compiler installed or Perl doesn't know about it.

"What compiler is it asking about?"

You need a c compiler, in the case of ActiveState Perl MinGW will do. Running the following from the command prompt will install it:

c:\ppm install MinGW

In your previous thread I advised you to sort our your PPM proxy configuration, and read the module installation tutorials. Have you done either or both of these?

Strawberry Perl comes with a C compiler and PPM, but I suspect if you don't fix your network connections you will still have problems installing modules.

I installed MinGw and i am still getting same warning.

If i install Straberry perl, will it affect existing scripts?..or will it affect some other process in my system/

Did you install MinGw via the ppm method I suggested? Please provide details of exactly what you've done, making people guess just takes longer. See How do I post a question effectively?.

I tried installing MinGW by ppm as you said, however my system freezes when i start this process. I installed it with the help of MinGw installer and installed all components listed in it.
