    You need to be more specific. What is the purpose of conversion? Transmission via a text format (eg, JSON)? Then you could use a base64-encoding module, or something of the like.

    Your question is way too vague! There are zillions of different binary file formats out there!

    In order to get a qualified answer, you should

    • provide a specificaton of your binary format
    • provide a specification of the desired text format
    • provide us the code you wrote to solve the problem and some info where you failed
    Then you will see that the monks are very helpful!
