You need to be more specific. What is the purpose of conversion? Transmission via a text format (eg, JSON)? Then you could use a base64-encoding module, or something of the like.	[reply]

Your question is way too vague! There are zillions of different binary file formats out there! In order to get a qualified answer, you should provide a specificaton of your binary format provide a specification of the desired text format provide us the code you wrote to solve the problem and some info where you failed Then you will see that the monks are very helpful!
