In that case, the docs of XML::Compile::SOAP, XML::Compile::WSDL, SOAP::Simple should be of help.

That still misses the point. Telling the OP to jump ship instead of helping him jump ship. SOAP::Lite has its flaws, but the OPs code works as is.

First of all: Obtain the WSDL for the service you are consuming. Read the post I linked for background on that.

Once you have the WSDL, you just need to:

  my $srv = SOAP::Simple->new($wsdl_file);
  $srv->method(@args)
[download]

And that's all...
