duh. We're not talking about duplicates.

So now you're saying the behaviour of the OP's code doesn't matter, yet your argument is that the OP's code is the spec (despite it being known not to work).

Oh dear. Not again. What is it with you?

    1. I noted the lack of examples in my original post.
    2. I up-voted your post that raised your example.
    3. That example was not addressed in the OP! It was therefore "unstated".
    4. I posted another solution which addressed that new requirement.
    5. Did you just ignore the :) following the phrase "unstated rules"?

Just because you couldn't come up with your own solution, do you really have to try and bolster your XP by conducting these pointless tirads?

That example was addressed in the OP. Again, the deviation from the OP is why I asked my question.

So if I come up with a solution and post it, I'm repeating, and if I don't post it, I'm dumb?

Simple, I didn't take kindly to the demeaning of the OP's effort :)

I didn't take kindly to your attempt to demean the OP's effort

So, in your mind, my taking the time to work out and post a (the only) working solution to the OPs problem, is "demeaning his effort"?

        I think not sunshine.

You were blatantly getting defensive over some perceived but non-existent slight against yourself.

        Are we done yet?
