Perl Openldap backend

mce has asked for the wisdom of the Perl Monks concerning the following question:

Hi all,
It has been a very long time since I have posted something.
I don't know if this is the right place to asked for it, but does someone know where I can download a native Win32 OpenLDAP server with a perl backend. I need to write a perl interface on openldap, and for the moment I use cygwin, but I wonder if there isn't a native win32 build somewhere?

Looked in google, but found no results?

OpenLDAP claims to run under windows, google has several results including OpenLDAP for Windows, though you could try compiling yourself. http://ldap.perl.org/ has details of connecting to an LDAP server using Perl.	[reply]
