genepool has asked for the wisdom of the Perl Monks concerning the following question:

Dear Wise Monks, I have been trying for days to make a working standalone Windows executable with PAR and pp. My Perl script uses the module XML::LibXML and I am running windows XP with Strawberry Perl installed. I use the following command to create my script:
>pp -C -M XML::LibXML -M XML::SAX -M XML::NamespaceSupport -M Math::Bi +gInt::GMP -o idexx2who.exe Idexx2WhoNetCSV.pl
And I get the following error when I attempt to run the exe on a computer that does not have Strawberry Perl installed :
Can't load 'C:\DOCUME~1\DOVELE~1\LOCALS~1\Temp\par-dovelewis\temp-800\ +e3Y9zPRBe_.dll' for module XML::LibXML: load_file:The specified modul +e could not be found at C:/strawberry/perl/lib/DynaLoader.pm line 200 +.at C:/strawberry/perl/vendor/lib/PAR/Heavy.pm line 128 BEGIN failed- +-compilation aborted at XML/LibXML.pm line 153. Compilation failed in + require at script/Idexx2WhoNetCSV.pl line 5. BEGIN failed--compilati +on aborted at script/Idexx2WhoNetCSV.pl line 5.
Thanks.

    You didn't include libxml upon which XML::LibXML relies. I imagine you would use --link to do that.
