Anonymous Monk has asked for the wisdom of the Perl Monks concerning the following question:

I have worked with Perl for so many years and I am at the point where I like to do something really good and that can generate $ome $ort of revolution for me. Where I should be headed?
Thanks.

Where are you at present? What interests you?

Unless we know your starting point it's hard to suggest how you might further your journey in an interesting direction, let alone a revolutionary one. Unless we know what you find interesting we can't make sensible suggestions about other things that may be of sufficient interest to drive you in the revolutionary direction you crave.

Just follow this simple recipe for success:

    1. Work with perl for many years
    2. ??? Fill in this step ???
    3. Profit!

This customizable template has served many for years. Just flesh out step 2 (yep, can be a little tricky), and you're good to go.

I was about to suggest going the startup route, but if you don't get that idea yourself you're probably not fit for it anyway.

Anyway, without knowing more details it's hard to say something interesting.
