Did the MIRRORED.BY format change that may not work with older versions of CPAN?

It doesn't matter, install the latest version of the CPAN module (there have been 216 releases since 1.76_01).

Or better yet, install CPANPLUS

I am getting exact same problem with later version: `[root@linux store]# cpan -v /usr/bin/cpan script version 1.9, CPAN.pm version 1.9402` [download] Any help would be appreciated.	[reply] [d/l]

No help from me, but I am having the exact same problem . Nothing works ( 5 "North America" "NA" "US" ... ) . Something must have broken recently . I remember using CPAN a couple of years ago and it worked ( tedious , but it worked ) . Um, download and install the very latest http://search.cpan.org/CPAN/authors/id/D/DA/DAGOLDEN/CPAN-1.94_64.tar.gz, file a bug report if you have problem with the latest :) Or try these tips	[reply]
