Do we know that the issue is caused by a .dll? I'd think -x is always worth a try, and if it doesn't solve it, one can go on to try other things.

Compiling something in Wine, to move to a Win32 machine, usually needs different .dlls	[reply]

Oh, I'd definitely compile (i.e. run pp) on a Windows box, not in wine, to be on the safe side.	[reply]
