That's not the code that produced the error message, is it?

Anyway, you just read the lines, but you don't split on any delimiter, and don't create any array references - so no wonder you can't use the lines as array references.

    Yes, I already modified the source but the point is same, I wonder if can read file each line as array and then just call it like : 
     (
   [ qr/\/ka/   => '"ku"'  ],
   [ qr/\/hi/   => '"he he he"'  ],
);
