The "problem" is that you are trying to use functions that were not a part of the module at that time.

Any version after 1.59 will not give the error you posted. But I strongly advise going for the latest version available when you upgrade.

    excellent, and I do agree with your comments about going with the latest. only problem is I can't control what people run on their boxes when they run my code nor can I easily dictate. -mark

      Fair enough, but you could use threads 1.67; or whatever version has all the features/fixes you are dependant upon.
