By "is not enough for me" I meant "having it pure-perl for the sake of being pure-perl is not enough argumentation for me"
my feeling by no means hurt, and - generally - I would advise to use fast and tested JS engine implemented in C, over pure-perl implementation, unless the goal of javascript is only toy testing.
