valgrind is great for finding memory leaks (although I don't know if it runs on Windows). If that code leaks, I suspect it's in DBD::ODBC or something it uses (like the odbc library).

I've started a download of Purify but its gonna take like 2 hours to finish. Any other ideas to look into while I wait?	[reply]

You might try the GlowCode trial. It's a 2MB download + a registration. Examine what is said, not who speaks -- Silence betokens consent -- Love the truth but pardon error.
