tusty has asked for the wisdom of the Perl Monks concerning the following question:

Is anybody familiar with any perl Cloud Storage kinda implementations? I want to build a local service starting with a single but distinct server that would handle uploaded files. It would be nice to have some kind of secret key authentication like S3 for uploads and access as well. Any ready made easy to implement options?

    Not sure if this is what you want, have a look at Phenona maybe? If you are developing Perl applications and want simple cloud deployment... but not sure that is what you have described
