I have also added export PATH=/usr/bin:$PATH to $HOME/bashrc

but to no avail

any further suggestions or recommendations on how this fool can mend his ways???

since you seem to have sorted out your dilemma, for posterity, you should run this program using a full path to your target perl binary, like `$home/localperl/bin/perl path900554.pl` [download]	[reply] [d/l]
