Yes. I can confirm. "regexp ok" with just compiled perl 5.14 RC1.
Please tell me, should I report this bug to perl developers? Any chance to fix it in previous perl versions?

No need to report it, it has already been reported and fixed. I don't know if anybody plans to backport the fix to previous perl versions, if so probably only to the 5.12 maintenance releases. Perl 6 - second systems done right	[reply]
