Update: I suppose s/// could (should!) be added to the (long!) list of things that are treated as boolean in when.

    That's what I think. It "feels" like it ought to, and has a high DWIM factor.

        You seem to be on a "terse" binge of late (except when fighting with BrowserUK). I don't understand what you mean from your one-word reply. Are you agreeing that it's a bug that has not been reported yet and encouraging me to do so? Or are you saying it's already been filed? Are you saying we don't need to discuss it any more and that I shouldn't get more input in interpreting the wisdom of the existing behavior?

        IAC, if you are bound and determined to use only a single word, maybe you can find one that has a richer detailed (or unambiguous) meaning. Or maybe you can still be terse but move up to two words or a hiku (there is some precedent!).
