Put image over widget MPlayerEmbed... how to ??

darkladen has asked for the wisdom of the Perl Monks concerning the following question:

Hi, I'm working on Gtk2 and I've been looking for ways to use a MPlayerEmbed widget within a container Layer but I had no luck. The widget MPlayerEmbed plays video but not seen and what I've noticed, the videos are hidden and I can only listen to the videos. What would be the way to use a MPlayerEmbed widget within a container Layer to show me the videos?? Of course, thank you very much.
